Awareness ribbons are the symbols for showing support or raise consciousness for a cause. Ribbons of different colors and patterns are used for different causes. Solid purple color ribbon is one of the most widely used awareness ribbon. It stands for a lot of things including Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Pancreatic Cancer, Lupus awareness and Epilepsy awareness. Today we are going to discuss all the causes that purple ribbon symbolizes.

Awareness ribbons are often made of cloth or paper and people wear them on their dress to show their support for a particular cause.

    From all the research I have done the purple ribbon also raises awareness for chiari malformation. My 3 year son has it. He had his first craniotomy/decompression surgery on March 29, 2022.
